Rays sign Joel Peralta

The Rays have signed former Nationals reliever Joel Peralta to a one year, $900k contract. He posted a 2.02 ERA 9 K/9 and 1.7 BB/9 in 49 innings of relief in 2010. His career numbers are a 4.22 ERA with 7.3 K/9 and 2.4 BB/9 in a total of 260 relief appearances. Good move.
