Another big win for us tonight. Eight runs, twelve hits, and I am sure all of you are thinking we were on the road. Nope. We did that AT home. Finally we broke out at home! Two games in a row at that, after our five run ten hit performance last night. The Rays took this series and are now 47-37, 10 games over .500. They also moved to just four games behind the Yankees as the Yankees lost to the Mets in extras 3-2. Boston won and so we remain 2.5 games back in the Wild Card. The Rays went 12-6 in Interleague play this year. They will play in Minnesota tomorrow starting a three game set before heading to New York for a four game set before the All Star Break. Johnny Damon drove in five as he was all the offense the Rays would need.
