Oh, the fun of it all!

Is life supposed to be this much fun? I'll bet those other teams with DL problems, runaway ERA's, low BA's, multiple error games, and just plain boring play, look at us and feel that twinge of jealousy, that underlying bitterness, and the unadmitable, begrudging fondness for the most enjoyable team in baseball!
We run hard and put pressure on the defense. We have a tight infield and web gem outfield taking pressure off our pitchers, (who by the way we have to take kicking and screaming out of the game in the 8th or 9th just so our bullpen won't rot), our veteran presence Johnny Damon is a lovable guy doing a great job, and now just to top it all off, the cherry on the icing on the whipped cream comes up this cute puppy looking kid from Durham, with the wholesome family, sports anchor wife and homers in his first at bat. Get outta here! Buuuuut, coming from the Sunshine City in the Sunshine State, well I guess we are already spoiled.
Oh, I fantasize about another trip to the World Series and anticipate each game with a mixture of excitement and worry, but one thing I know is that no matter how the season turns out the Tampa Bay Rays are a tribute to the game and we are gonna have some fun this summer!

A World Series is something that we have been tasting and waiting for for a long time. It's time for us to be on top, and it would be a dream come true if we could somehow manage to make it all the way this year and win it all.
