Subject: Rays versus Pirates Sat Mar 26, 2011 2:07 am
A team the Rays have had a rough time with this spring, the Pirates, fell to them today as we near the end of Spring Training. The Rays got the win 9-5, and now are 2 games over .500 at 14-12, a big leap from the way they started the year. They are now in fifth place among American League teams ( first in the A.L. East ) and 2 games back, and are also in fifth place in the Grapefruit League, 2 and a half games back. Let's GO RAYS! Opening Day starts in a few days.

Yeah, the Buckos did give the Rays some fits right from the beginning. I actually like to the Rays around the .500 mark in spring training. It helps keep MY expectations in check. I'm also looking forward to opening day.. YAAY

Those bucks got us again. Tied the game in the top of the ninth and lost it in the bottom half. 5-4. I am tired of seeing these Pirates luckily we won't have to see them much in the Season if at all. I am excited as well. Just a few more days, Rays with a 14-14 record and would like to see them win the last Spring Training games to have some momentum going into the season.
