The Rays lost to the White Sox today 4-2, with their only runs coming in the second and ninth innings. They had some runners on base and some nice hits but couldn't bring them in.

The Rays are now 1-7 and are tied with the Boston Red Sox, who lost to the Yanees today, for the worst record in the A.L. East.

B.J. Upton's 7-game hit streak also came to an end today as he went 0-3.
